Some ideas:
- Create posters promoting new books in your library! Beside the book cover, add a QR code linking out to a book trailer, a book review, etc. My poster is here.
- One New Zealand school incorporated QR codes into traditional book displays in a really innovative way. Read about it here.
- Generate a code to put on fliers to promote book clubs and library programs.
- Place codes on bookmarks to direct students to your library web site.
- Combine QR codes with Low Tech Labels! Create a website, blog post, or delicious tag for a book or author, then generate a QR code that sends students directly to that site! Print the QR code on an adhesive label and put it in the back of the book, or on a bookmark or reading list.
